Chocolatey Pecan & Fig Brownies

Ingredients

buckwheat flour
(roughly 2 cups)

cacao powder
(1/3rd cup)
1/2
cup
maple syrup

coconut oil
melted

ml
unsweetened almond milk
1/2
tsp
baking powder

figs
Handful
pecans
Pinch
salt
Instructions
Pre-heat your oven to 180C
Add all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth
Line a baking tray with baking paper and pour the mix in, aim for a thickness of 1-2cm
Now top with sliced figs and pecans, slightly pressing them into the brownie
Place in the oven for 20 mins (if your oven runs hot try 15 minutes first)
Take out the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing
