Refreshing Smoothie

This smoothie is really refreshing and sharp. It only has a few ingredients and is perfect for an afternoon pick me up especially if the sun is shinning!

Serves 1

Prep: 3 mins

Ingredients:

  • 150ml of cold water
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Handful of fresh mint leaves
  • Sprinkle of chia seeds (optional)

Method:

Place the 150ml of cold water into the blender, then cut the apple into small pieces along with the celery and place into the blender and blend.

Once the apples and celery have turned into a juice add all the other ingredients and blend again, add more water if u prefer it thinner.

Finally top with chia seeds and its ready to serve.

Tip: If you prefer it ice cold you can either blend a couple ice cubes in at the end or stick it in the fridge for 30 mins.
